Emily Neff, M.Ed.
Founder & Director

Emily Neff, M.Ed. is an educational consultant and early childhood expert. With over 15 years of experience working with young children in both clinical and educational settings, Emily’s bespoke programs and teaching methodology prepare children for the rigor of competitive school environments while maintaining the spark that makes early learning so special. Every Kids Who Flow session is grounded in clinically-backed practices, a deep understanding of your child’s individual strengths and needs, and an infusion of creativity that together forms the most individualized academic learning experience possible.

Emily began her professional journey as a classroom teacher where she was awarded a Teaching Fellowship for her excellence in the classroom. After working with underserved populations in Title I schools in New York City, she became a certified Early Interventionist, expanding her clinical and educational skills.

Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has participated in clinical training from the NYU Child Study Center, the B.U.D.S Program at Columbia University, and the Yale Center for Dyslexia, as well as receiving certification under the mentorship of Christopher Willard, PsyD and the Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA.

Emily wholeheartedly believes that every child deserves learning experiences that are intentionally designed and just as joyful as they are impactful. Kids Who Flow was Emily’s first baby, and she is now the proud mom of a toddler in New York City. Becoming a mother has only further solidified Emily’s mission to help all learners believe in their own potential and power.

Our Team

Our team is curated and intentionally small, each instructor with extensive experience teaching in the New York and Los Angeles school systems. Each member of our team is here because they are deeply passionate about changing the way learning feels for children — all while producing real results.

Our instructors hold Master’s Degrees in Education, are trained in explicit literacy instruction and have elite, method-specific training in the Kids Who Flow Method and the FLOW Framework, administered by our Founder, Emily Neff.

Additionally, all of our educators are trained in Fundations, PAF, or both, in order to best support the exact literacy instruction happening in your child’s reading groups and classroom.

Our Instructors have proudly been classroom teachers at: The Dalton School, The Birch Wathen Lenox School, The Chapin School, Columbia Grammar Preparatory School, and more — giving them unique insight into how to best support your child’s growth in and out of the classroom.
